Part Three

I woke up with a major headache. I looked around and remember what had gone on. No one was around because I couldn’t here anyone outside of my room. I felt like shit and I also felt bad for everyone having to witness me go insane.  I got a cut on my hand so I had to clean that before I infected my self with syphilis. I slowly unlocked the door and opened it. I looked in the direction of our living room and saw all the heads of my family turn towards me. I felt like I was sneaking around my own house. No one said a word though. I went into the bathroom and cleaned myself up. I was curious on the fact that I had no idea what they were thinking. I looked out the door way periodically. All of them were still staring at me. I turned off the bathroom light and headed in their direction. I had no idea what I was going to say but I had to say something. I looked into the living room and they all watched every move I made. Tay watched me yeah, but he had an evil look on his face the whole time. Ike just seemed to be staring into space, but still looking at me. I sat down in an empty chair. Not one word was spoken. I knew I would have to start the conversation, but how?

“Hi.” There’s a wining word. I think a two year old could of done a better job. There was still a long pause. Then I saw my mom shift places so I knew she was going to say something.

“Is everything okay?” I could tell she didn’t even have a response. Probably because we never had one of us go insane before.

“Sure.” Sometimes I think I really was meant to be a dumbass. I can’t even talk to my own family. That’s pathetic. “I’ll just go finish packing up.” I went back into my room and actually packed. The car ride on the way to the airport was silent. Not one of us said a word the whole way there. Ike drove, Tay was in the front seat and I sat in the back. Talk about feeling left out. We got to the airport and got on a plane. There weren’t fans there because they didn’t know we had a change of plans. That’s a good thing though because I wasn’t in the mood for fans right now. On the plane we didn’t even sit by each other. It was awkward because we are never mad at each other for one and I thought we were all better than that. I wasn’t going to say anything though so I just put my headphones on and enjoyed the flight, somewhat.

“Come on, it’s time to get off the plane.” Ike nudged me. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. Almost everyone had gotten off already. I took off my headphones and got my bag from the overhead compartment. We were in L.A. Ike had arranged a car for us so he could drive us home.

“Okay, I believe this is it.” Ike pulled up to our house. We didn’t like the other one we were living in so we decided to rent a new one for while we were down, well over here. We got our bags out of the trunk and went it. It was defiantly big. We each got out our room and bathroom this time. Tay shoved past me, found a room to claim as his own, and slammed the door. He is usually one of the nicest guys, but when you piss him off he’ll make sure you know he’s mad.

“That’s his room. Well I’ll take the one in the far back. You can have this one.” Ike pointed to my hole. “Get some sleep. We are going to get up early to go to the studio. I nodded and smiled. I took my stuff into my room. It was a small room but it would do. I just left my stuff and went to sleep. I needed it.

“Sleepy head wake up. We got to get going soon.” Ike ripped my blanket off. A chill ran up my spine. IT was about 9 o’clock. I like to sleep in so this is early for me. I eventually get into the shower and got ready.

“Okay, I’m done.” I put my hair up in a ponytail.

“Ready?” Ike was in a good mood this morning. That must be a good sign.

“You know it.” It made me feel happy. So we went out to the car to leave. Tay wouldn’t even look at me. I knew he was still upset about something. This would be an odd week, or however long we must stay in this godforsaken place.

“Alright guys, let’s work on the songs that we have completed for now and then we will get to the others.” Tay switches his personality in the studio.

“How many songs do we have so far?” I might as well switch mine too.

“I think around 19 or something like that.” We started writing a bunch of songs while we were on tour so we had a lot of material for this new CD. So worked together all day. No arguing or anything. It was actually quite fun. I wish it could be like that all the time. We decided to call it a day when it was around 5 o’clock. We all went home. Then Tay wouldn’t talk to me. He’s so childish sometimes. Come on, we’re brothers, it’s not like we’re enemies. We got home and he wouldn’t even look in my general direction. He left after only being home for ten minutes.

“Ike?” I needed to talk to someone.

“Yeah.” He looked up at me and could tell something was wrong. “What’s wrong?”

“Taylor.” I sunk down in the couch.

“You know he really doesn’t hate you. He just doesn’t want his music career to be jeopardized in any way, shape, or form. He’ll get over his little fit soon enough.” At least Ike knew what I was talking about.

“I hope so.” I sighed.

“It’s not like you did anything wrong. Just keep yourself occupied and not think about it. I must go. I’m meeting someone. Go outside or something and get some fresh air.” Ike picked up his bag and left. I was left to sit here all alone. I didn’t want to just sit here so I decided to go swimming. We were in like a housing community thing so they had a pool we could use. I put my swim trunks on and headed out. No one was there so it was nice and peaceful there. I dove right in. The cool water felt good on my body. It was warm enough out to make the water refreshing. I just swam around for a while. Only about 20 minutes had pasted and I heard voices coming my way. I thought about leaving but having some new faces around didn’t seem so bad.

“These two girls were trying to fight and I was just standing off to the side laughing at them because it was so pathetic.” They were two girls. I think they were talking about something that happened at school.

“You should of just beat them up yourself. I hate them, they are so stupid and stuck up.” There was one girl with short blond hair and she was talking to the one with long brown hair.

“I couldn’t because then I’d get suspended.” They both laughed and jumped into the pool.

“Oh, hello.” She noticed me. “My name is Randi and this is Audrey. Audrey was the blond and Randi was the brunette. Either way, they were both hotties.

“I’m Zac.” I think that sparked something in their heads.

“Like Zac Hanson?” I think Randi just shit a brick. I couldn’t help but smile.

“Yup.” Sometimes fame can be a pain with everybody knowing who you are, but it does help because you get to meet a lot of people. If ya know what I mean.

“Sorry, I just thought you were back home still. Well not that I know where you’re supposed to be or anything.” She turned bright red.

“We were supposed to but your schedule was changed. Don’t ask me why I decided to share that with them.

“Oh.” She just stared at me for a minute. “Sorry, I’m just a little star struck.” I’m not that big of a star.

“Don’t worry about it. I’m normal, I swear.” At least this took my mind off Tay and that whole ordeal.

“I know, but it’s just one of those things that I’ve dreamed of for so long. Well I’ll just let you swim. You’re probably sick of people.”

“It’s okay, I don’t mind.” So we all swam fro a while. They’re so cute. After a while we all got out and dried off.

“I don’t want to be rude or anything, but would you mind taking a picture with me or signing something?” She had a camera in hand.

“I wouldn’t mind one bit.” I put my arm around her and smiled. I could feel her quiver. Audrey snapped a picture and handed the camera back to Randi.

“Hey Ran, I forgot about my practice. I gotta go and get ready, but call me later okay? Bye, oh and nice meeting you Zac.”

“You too.” I gave her a hug and she ran off. “What is she practicing for?”

“Oh, she’s a gymnast. She’s really good too. We used to do it together but it wasn’t my sport. So I just do it for fun, but she’s really into it.” She’s athletic. No wonder she has a nice body.

“I play drums. That’s my hobby.” She laughed. I didn’t want her to leave because I wanted someone around. “Hey, if your not doing anything, would you like to maybe go get some ice cream or something?” I was nervous for some reason. It’s not like she’s say no.

“For real?” She was surprised.

“Yeah, I have nothing else to do tonight.”

“Well I’ll have to go and change and stuff.” Her eyes grew wide.

“Well do you live in this area?”

“Yeah, I live a couple blocks over.”

“Well I’m staying at this address.” I jotted it down for her. “Meet me here when you’re all ready.

“Alright!” She almost squealed. She practically ran home. I went home and jumped in the shower. I put on some nicer clothes and a splash of cologne. I’ve never really had an interest in girls till a few years ago, but still I never had a girlfriend like Ike or Tay, so this was making me kind of fidgety. I heard her knock on the door.
