Review
On September 20th, 2001 I saw the Backstreet Boys in concert for the 2nd time. I had the best time ever. I'll start with my day. For school I put my Backstreet Boys T-shirt I wore last time on. I put blue ribbon in my hair, on my shirt, and where ever I could. I had black and blue rings on. I painter my nails black and blue. I didn't have time to paint my face or anything though, so I waited till later. But I did wear my Backstreet Boys watch : ) So all school day me and my friend Kobby were all excited. Me, Kobby, and my mom were all going together. Kobby had different seats than us though. So we spaz out all day and come home together. Everyone at school had already known that I was going because I wrote it on the board everyday. I had my countdown to the concert. So my friend Kaylee, from down the street, came over after school. First off I had to do a Spanish project for the next day so I was cooking food and making a poster. So we did all that and it was getting late. My mom was coming home from work at about 6 and then we were leaving. Kaylee did my hair in two French braids. Then she put blue ribbon through it. I have pics of that. Then she did Kobby's hair. By then my mom was home and we had to write on ourselves still. So we took eye liner and on my right arm I put all their names and on my left arm I put a fake tattoo that was really cute with Backstreet on top and Boys on the bottom. I wrote on Kobby the same thing basically. So we get into to the car, bring sure to bring their Cd's and duct tape and my sign. The car ride didn't take that long. We duct taped pictures of them in the windows and junk and took pictures in the car. When we got to The Palace, where they were playing, I saw the tour buses. I took a few pictures of them. We park and I put my sign up in the window for people to see. I wasn't sure if we could bring a camera in or not so I left it in the car. I just got it for my birthday, so it was expensive. We go in and there are a lot of people there. We went to the DRQ both where they were throwing things out. We didn't wanna be there too long so we went to walk to our seats. I were peaking in the curtain and Sisqo had already started. We watched for a bit while my mom went to the bathroom. Then we walk to where Kobby had to go. She was on main floor, we we way up in BFE. I wanted to get a shirt and stuff so I stood in line forever cause the guy was so slow getting people stuff. I ended up getting a shirt and a bandana. There goes 45 bucks, 30 of which my mother provided for the shirt. Then we hurry up to our seats, but Sisqo had already ended. I wanted a glow necklace so my mom had bought one for me, her, and Kobby. I went and bought her nachos and we were eating them. Then the place goes black and you know they're about to start. I was so excited. I flew out of my seat and my eyes went wide. The concert started. They had the "meteors" hitting the earth with the fireworks. Then they start to rise out of the stage on platforms. I screamed my head off. They did Everyone and Larger Than Life for their opening. I was a screaming fool. (I wrote that about myself in my journal about this. I thought that was funny.) They added a whole bunch of things to this concert. It was longer than the first one by far. Aj came out and thanked all of us for support and that was his 78th day sober. I was so happy for him. He looked extremely good that night. They did say a little something about the New York incident and told us about one of their crew members that was on the plane. I was told, not by them, that he was on the way back from seeing his wife who was going to have a baby. It was so sad. When they did Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely, they dedicated it to him. I thought that was sweet of them. They added a video to their show. When they went to change at one point it was a little video of them from like 50 years from now. It was so funny. The 'interviewer' said something like, what was one of the highlights of your career? Nick was like probably Howie's hip replacement. Howie stood up and did a little dance. Nick says in the background, yeah Joey Fatone showed up at the hospital. I thought that was great. I died. Then when they did the video of their dressing room, it was different. The made a new one and I thought the old one was better. This time they didn't come out in their goofy clothes. When they came out on the little stage, Kobby was like right there. 5 feet away from Aj. Oh how I wish I would of given her my camera. Do you know how many good pictures of them I would of gotten? Oh man, I was so mad, but I was still screaming. Everyone around me was sitting down though, so I was really noticeable. But When they were going across the catwalk Howie threw a rose out into the crowd. Kevin was looking for something to throw and picked up a hat. He threw that and Kobby caught it! We were so excited. When they did Shape Of My Heart, their dancers came out waving American Flags. I thought that was cute. This was a list of most of thier songs. One or two could of been forgotten because I don't have the greatest memory:

Now my personal favorite part of the show was when they did Get Another Boyfriend and Everybody. I never screamed or freaked out so much in my life. I almost fell forwards cause I was dancing/screaming so much. In Everybody, when Nick plays the guitar and Aj goes, "Now throw your hands up in the air.." that was the best. Me and Kobby always watch the CBS special and that reminded me of it so much. I was so excited. I was freaking out though. I thought I was going to die. It was the best experience of my life. I will never forget it for the world. So the concert ended and I was so dead. I had not voice or legs. The people next to us go, your throat it going to be so sore tomorrow. Oh was it ever :*( But we were walking down the stairs out of the top and just to let you know, my mom loves Kevin. She yells out really loud, I wanna have mad donkey sex with Kevin! I died, cause me and Kobby always saw that. That means that we like someone. We always go I wanna have mad donkey sex Nick or Howie, or who ever we want at the time. OH!!! Howie did the Howie so many times!! I was so excited. It's just where he moves his hand. It's great cause he does it all the time. Yeah me and Kobby have no life because we sit around and point out things like that. Oh, I forgot, Aj and Brian sang to me. Both of them, at different times, pointed up in my direction. Since I was the only one standing it had to of been me. I felt special (along with all the other hundred girls, lol) So we get out to our car and get in. I don't wanna tell you what Kobby did cause It's to embarrassing. So we saw 2 tour buses leave. We're like oh my god, it's them. So we get on the freeway and catch up to one. I took a picture of it but only got the side of it. I didn't care. So we stopped at Burger King and ate. We took pics in from of it because BSB and burger King. Yeah that whole thing. I scanned in my pictures so I'll leave a link to them. But this was the best thing in the world. I will carry this with me now and forever. KTBSPA! ! ! ! ! !
